Katherine Hall is a birth doula in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas. She is a Christian, a wife, and a mom. She believes all moms and families should have access to a doula and information about birth in order to make informed choices. Katherine simply loves coming alongside moms and dads/families to help in this amazing process.
Birth was created by God and is a natural physiological process. Modern medicine has proven to be a mercy in our day and age and can be so very helpful, when needed. Katherine focuses on you, your family, your thoughts, and desires for birth. She will support you in your informed choices. Katherine also makes sure to prepare you for the big picture, so you are equipped for different scenarios. All birth stories are different. Katherine will help you build your birth story with education, informed choices, and physical, and emotional support as you labor.
Husbands: You are important in this process! Katherine will coach and encourage you in assisting your wife during labor and prepare you for postpartum, as well. Dad’s are super important.
Single moms: Katherine can help support you before, during, and after birth. She can also help you find your community, so you have support as you start life with a baby as a single mom. Reduced rates available for single moms.
Placing baby for adoption: You matter. Katherine would love to help you prepare for birth and for labor and delivery. Reduced rates available for adoption.
